Tourist Visa Requirements

Applicants are required to provide the following documents when applying for a Bosnia visa:

  • Original passport (valid for at least 6 months)
  • UAE residence visa (valid for at least 3 months)
  • Emirates ID copy
  • One passport-size photograph (35×45mm)
  • Copy of round-trip flight ticket or confirmed travel itinerary
  • Valid travel insurance

  • Latest 3-month bank statement
  • For minors: Birth certificate

Visa Categories

Visa C (Short-Term Stay)

Issued for tourism, business, or personal visits — valid for a stay of up to 90 days.

Depending on purpose:

  • Tourism: NOC letter, financial proof, and itinerary
  • Visiting Family/Friends: Invitation letter from a Bosnia resident
  • Business: Employer letter or invitation from a Bosnia-based company certified by the Ministry of Security
  • Sports/Events: Official invitation from relevant organization
  • Education: Admission confirmation from Bosnia educational institution

Visa D (Long-Term Stay)

Issued for stays exceeding 90 days within a 180-day period. Required documents include:

  • Invitation letter certified by the Ministry of Security – Service for Foreigner’s Affairs
  • For work: Certified company invitation letter and valid work permit
  • For family reunification: Invitation from a relative or friend residing in Bosnia

Note: The Embassy reserves the right to request additional documents. A visa does not guarantee entry into Bosnia and Herzegovina.
